Armed robbery, gun: May 20 at 8:39 p.m., 2700 block of Taylor Avenue. An unknown suspect entered the Royal Farm Store and stood in line with a soda. When he got to the register he lifted his shirt and displayed a black and silver handgun. The suspect demanded the cashier to put money in a bag, which he then walked out with heading toward Old Harford Road.

Robbery/purse snatching: May 9 at 12:05 p.m., 3100 block of Putty Hill Avenue. An unknown suspect approached the victim as she was entering the side door of her home. The suspect grabbed her purse containing $80 in cash, a credit card and various personal documents. The victim was injured as she struggled to regain her purse. The suspect fled the area on foot heading toward Hiss Avenue.

Two arrested for Bowman robbery

Baltimore County Police have arrested two men in the May 2 robbery of Bowman’s Restaurant in the 9300 block of Harford Road, Carney.
The two are identified as former employee Nathaniel Green, 24, and Shakime Duval Jackson, 33, both of the 600 block of N. Carrollton Street.
Both men have been charged with armed robbery and first-degree assault. A court commissioner denied bail for Jackson. Green’s bail was set at $250,000. Both men remain at the Baltimore County

Video footage catches salon robber in act

Second degree burglary: May 5 at 3:28 a.m., 3600 block of E. Joppa Road. An unknown suspect smashed the front glass door in order to gain entry to the Nucci Salon. Once inside, the suspect stole a flat-screen TV and a cash drawer including $500 in cash. The suspect was caught on video footage.

First degree burglary:  March 27 between 8:30 and 11 a.m. An unknown suspect pried the rear sliding door of a residence on Spindrift Circle. Once inside, the suspect stole a safe, various pieces of jewelry, a radio, a CD player, CDs, cash and various pieces of personal papers. Later on that same date, a maintenance worker located the suspect and the safe in a vacant apartment, but did not notify the police.
