Crime report: Flat-screen television walks away

Precinct 8, Parkville

Second degree burglary: Between Sept. 21 at 10 p.m. and Sept. 27 at 10:43 a.m., unit block of Perryfalls Place. An unknown suspect stole two Roadmaster mountain bikes from an unlocked shed.

First degree burglary: Sept. 25 between 11:30 a.m. and 4:45 p.m., 1900 block of Mountain Ave. An unknown suspect forced the rear kitchen window to gain entrance and once inside, stole $1,500 in cash and a black powder handgun.

Fourth degree burglary: Sept. 25 between 1 and 6:30 p.m., 1900 block of Mountain Ave. An unknown suspect entered the property, opened shed and stole a Black and Decker pole saw and hedge trimmer.

Carjacking/kidnapping: Sept. 26 between 12:10 a.m. and 2 a.m., intersection of Joppa and Satyr Hill roads. An unknown suspect entered the victim’s vehicle, displayed a knife and forced victim to drive to an ATM machine. The suspect then bought cigarettes with the victim’s credit card and forced the victim to drive to his home where he stole $100 and the victim’s vehicle.

Shoplifting: Sept. 28 at 1:30 p.m., 1900 block of E. Joppa Rd. An unknown suspect cut the security lock from a Viewsonic flat-screen TV on display at Office Depot and left the store with the TV.

Precinct 9, White Marsh

Second degree burglary: Between Sept. 22 at 5 p.m. and Sept. 24 at 6:15 a.m., 4200 block of Fitch Ave. An unknown suspect cut a hole in the fence at 84 Lumber and stole $1,431 worth of lumber.

Fourth degree burglary: Between Sept. 24 at 4 p.m. and Sept. 25 at 7:30 a.m., 5600 block of Aubree Ln. An unknown suspect stole copper wire from six new homes under construction.

First degree burglary: Sept. 26 between 7:30 a.m. and 6 p.m., Aspen Wood Way. An unknown suspect forced entry into apartment and removed miscellaneous financial papers.

Attempted burglary: Sept. 26 at 10:45 a.m., Aspen Wood Way. An unknown suspect attempted to enter apartment by kicking the door. When the victim yelled from inside the apartment, the suspect ran away.

Armed robbery – gun: Sept. 26 at 3:10 p.m., 5600 block of Whitby Rd. Two unknown suspects confronted the victim and forced him into the alley at gunpoint. The suspects took the victim’s keys and stole $35 in cash, a cell phone, a drivers license, two bank cards, and a black leather bag from his car.
