Precinct 8, Parkville
First degree burglary: Aug. 20 between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m., 2900 block of Alverta Avenue. An unknown suspect entered home through an unlocked door and stole a DVD player, a camcorder, a laptop computer and a camera.
Armed robbery - gun: Aug. 21 at 11:23 a.m., 7900 block of Belair Road. Suspect had been present in the Game Stop store looking around and asking the manager questions. He then locked the door, showed a handgun, and said, “This is a stick up.” Two victims were put on the floor and shackled together. The suspect had the manager fill a bag with merchandise while he took money out of the register. The suspect fled to the back room of the store where he stole more merchandise before fleeing out the rear door.
First degree burglary: Aug. 21 between 12:30 and 2 p.m., 9100 block of Orbitan Court. An unknown suspect entered residence and stole an X-Box 360 Elite game system. No sign of forced entry was found.
Second degree burglary: Between Aug. 21 at 6 p.m. and Aug. 22 at 9:30 a.m., 10100 block of Egerton Farm Court. An unknown suspect burglarized several houses under construction and then stole $1,000 in copper pipe.
First degree burglary: Aug. 24 between 1:45 and 3 p.m., 9800 block of Magledt Road. An unknown suspect cut rear window screen off deck then pushed the unlocked window to gain entry. Once inside, the suspect ransacked a bedroom and stole $200 in cash.
Fourth degree burglary: Aug. 24 at 8:52 p.m., 2900 block of Putty Hill Avenue. Suspect, the victim’s ex-girlfriend, entered the victim’s fenced-in backyard and crawled through the dog door to gain access to residence. Nothing was damaged or taken, and suspect was arrested for fourth degree burglary, trespassing and failure to obey.
Precinct 9, White Marsh
Armed robbery: Aug. 21 at 8 p.m., 6400 block of Golden Ring Road. An unknown suspect entered Rite Aid and pointed a knife at the cashier. He demanded money and cigarettes and stole $929 before fleeing.
First degree burglary: Aug. 22 between 7:15 a.m. and 4:40 p.m., 100 block of Aspinwood Way. An unknown suspect pried door of residence and stole five watches and various pieces of jewelry.
Second degree burglary: Aug. 23 between 12:30 a.m. and 7 a.m., 4500 block of Ridge Road. An unknown suspect cut the hasp to a garage door at the rear of property. The lock on the fastener was stolen, as well as a 2003 Yamaha dirt bike.
Fourth degree burglary: Aug. 23 at 2:25 a.m., 5100 block of Terrace Drive. Unknown suspect cut the shed hasp to gain entry. The alarm on the shed sounded and scared suspect off. No property was taken.
First degree burglary: Aug. 24 between 8 a.m. and 2:15 p.m., unit block of Lincoln Woods Way. An unknown suspect pried the front door to gain entry. The sliding door was also found open but nothing has been reported missing.
Fourth degree burglary: Aug. 25 at 3:15 a.m., 4700 block of Forest View Avenue. Several unknown suspects jumped over fence around residence, breaking several sections in the process. Suspects fled toward Elmwood.
Fourth degree burglary: Aug. 25 between 6:45 a.m. and 1:10 p.m., 4400 block of E. Joppa Road. An unknown suspect flexed driver’s door on car parked in driveway to gain entry. The stereo was stolen from center console.
