Senator welcomes ‘Storyville’ opinions

To: Editor, Times-Herald

From: Kathy Klausmeier
State Senator, District 8

In response to the letter to the editor in the Friday, Feb. 23 Times-Herald from Jeffrey Smith, board member, Foundation for Baltimore County Public Library: He refers to the ‘Storyville’ library project in Rosedale, and suggests you contact your elected officials and tell them you support Senate Bill 264/House Bill 360, which would dedicate $250,000 to help complete ‘Storyville.’
I was proud to be the sponsor of Senate Bill 264. Delegate (Todd) Schuler was the sponsor of House Bill 360 and Delegates (Eric) Bromwell and (Joe) Boteler were co-sponsors.
I applaud the actions of Mr. Smith in notifying the community about this project. SB 264/HB 360 has the full support of the elected officials in District 8.
Please let us hear from you.
